- Attracting Wildlife on to the Park-
From growing plants, leaving large green areas to encouraging wildlife on the Park. Ty Gwyn Park have entered the David Bellamy Conservation Awards this year! We have planted new beds of wildflowers, installed bird boxes throughout the park and bug hotels to encourage bees and insects. We also have large hedgerows and grassed areas for birds to enjoy throughout the year. This year we have also added new flower beds with lavender, heather and pollinator friendly plants.
- Reducing your carbon foot print on holiday–
At Ty Gwyn, you can leave your car behind. It’s easy to take public transport on your holiday- no. 12 Bus Stop at the Park from Llandudno to Rhyl and Abergele & Pensarn train station is only a mile away. There is direct step free access on to the Wales Coastal Path for miles of walks or cycle rides along the coast!
- UK Caravan Holidays save Tonnes of Carbon compared to taking flights to abroad!
An average return flight to Europe produces between 250kg and 500kg of carbon dioxide per person, whereas if four people travelled 250 miles in a petrol car towing a medium sized caravan, this would only produce 38kg of carbon dioxide emissions.
